    ….let’s not forget…Darrell Green the redskin’s corner back who played well in to his 40s.

    Martina Natrilova who won the Wimbledon mixed doubles title at the age of 45 ...

    ...and Merlene Ottey the Jamaican 100m sprinter who was making championship finals well past her 40th birthday

    Steve redgrave..5th Olympic gold medal after his 40th birthday!

    How about Minnie Minoso who played in 6 decades?

    Roger Clemens at high octane at age 45

    Tom Glavine & Greg Maddux both pitching well into their mid 40's and still going strong.
