See, the problem here is that Europe thinks of itself as Europe the continent, and not as the individual countries that are Europe. Are these people making it a Europe (continent) vs. USA (country)? Or is it their country vs the USA? If they want to make it a continent battle than they should say Europe vs. North America. If North America could make an A ...[text shortened]... s in sports. Maybe a forum Mod could take care of that for me please. I'm going to bed 🙂
Americans just don't get it.
Europe doesn't (and will never) consider itself as a team because we are individual countries, we don't support each other, the English would rarely ever want Germans, Italians, Spanish and especially the French to win anything, why should we?
I mean the English saved the French in WW2 and what thanks do we ever get, I've had too many vodkas so forgive me if I get carried away.
So the only real 'World Sports' are sports that are played by each individual country.
So world sports are:-
Football (thats soccer to you Americans) BY FAR THE MOST POPULAR WOLD SPORT
Boxing
Golf
F1
Tennis
Games like:
American Football
Basketball
Ice Hockey
Baseball
All these sports mean virtually nothing to the rest of the world and are meaningless in 'world' terms.
So America:
Footall/Soccer : You suck big time at this world sport the biggest, most supported and best sport there is
Boxing : Ameican PPV has ruined the sport, still the Canadian Lenox Lewis beat up all the Americans
Golf: America still has the best playes
F1: America has no presance, even Nigel Mansell when a has been won in American Indy at the 1st attempt
Tennis: The majority of the best players are European, but a Spaniard winning means nothing to an English man.
So basically America, you need to wake up and realise that your sporting presance in world terms is not that big, the rest of the world doesn't like your made for TV franchise entertainment events.
Where did I put that vodka bottle.....
