I don't follow MLB much, but it's nice to see a smaller market team win the big one......... IN YOUR FACE YANKEES!!😲😲😲😲😲😲😲😲

They beat at even smaller market tea in the WS, Royals are 16th on payroll of MLB teams this year and they beat the NY METS who are ranked 21st spending about 12m less.

FYI Dodgers are ranked #1, almost 100m more than Boston in 3rd and 50m more than the Yankees.

It's been a while. I think the last smaller market team that won it all was in the 1990's.

Mabye in another 30 years another small market team will make it.

Will all the Royals be Yankees next year?
