    Well, looks like I owe TheDude and apology. Despite Bowmann's early comments that he wasn't interested in taking control of the leafs, on Saturday night he comes out on national tv and says that in fact he was interested and Richard Peddie turned him down.

    I have no explanation why Peddie would do this other than the fact he's a control freak who doesn't want to give up his power/prestige to a man that will clearly overshadow him.
