I've never been impressed by an unassisted triple play. Sure, it's rare, but it's all luck and being in the right moment at the right time.

EDIT - the triple play turned by the Jays in the '91 world series - now there's a feat worth chronicling.

It is the second rarest event in all of sport.

The only thing statistically less likely is for a spectator to remain awake through an entire cricket game.

I just tried the link and it said the clip had been removed due to a copyright claim by MLB or something.

    Now that is too bad!

The shortstop caught the ball. Guy going to first is OUT
He ran to second... and tagged the runner coming from first. 2nd OUT!
He stepped on the bag, that gets the guy who left 2nd and needed to tag up.

    3rd OUT!

Finally, he looked around and threw the ball to first just for safe keeping. He didn't need to, but who could blame him.

    Pretty neat stuff.
