What about Ronaldo and the EPL ?

Do you think that maybe just maybe this year UEFA may come to their senses and perhaps select the European player of the year from England ? Love him or hate him, Cristiano Ronaldo has been far and away the best player in Europe this season and i just hope that UEFA get it right this time around and recognise that. I hope the fact he plays in the EPL rather that Serie A or La Liga doesnt go against him like it has for English based players in the past.

He has a great opportunity to win it this year however his performances in champions league will most likely be a decisive factor.
