World Cup of Football/Soccer Brasil 2014

How have the US improved recently? Check their world cup history from 2002... most people really have short memories.

Improvement is not always found in the results.
The US was hardly ever a fun team to watch. A hard working collective yes, but little skill, not a team that could create many chances. This tournament was the opposite due to Klinsmann.
Surviving a poule with Germany, Portugal and Ghana is an achievement itself, but the way it was achieved, that was impressive. Creative, fast play, much better skilled in passing, in controlling the ball, improvement in thinking ahead. The US was fun!
Well, that's what I saw.
By the way, WC 2006 wasn't a strong championship was it?

Interesting that they've been doing these signs that say no to racism. I heard at the Olympics in Russia people would be wearing all black and have hate speech signs against homosexuals.
