Charlton got beat by Wycombe tonight who knocked them out of the Carling Cup. Congrats to Wycombe, but questions have to be answered about how Charlton have got so bad.
From report of the match on BBC website:
'Addicks boss Les Reed has now won only one of his seven games in charge since he succeeded Iain Dowie last month and his job is already under threat.
He was frequently booed here but, judging from the frequent chants from Charlton supporters of 'you're not fit to wear the shirt', most of the fans' ire is currently directed at the players.
Fifty-three places may separate the two sides in the League but you would not have guessed who were the top flight team early on.'
It was a bit of a mystery why Iain Dowie was sacked so soon into his reign at Charlton; their form under him was definitely a LOT better than it is now under Reed. Is this just a classic case of Charlton shooting themselves in the foot? If so, when will premiership clubs learn?

i'm very proud of the way the boys played
I love it how Jose has already changed the focus of Chelsea's bad form onto himself. Now everybody's talking about what he said regarding not being backed up by the board or if he's going to leave at the end of the season. Genius!

I bet you were one of those many that were whining that Terry was over-rated and yet now you defend that he single-handedly was the reason of Chelsea's recent success. Genius.
PS: I know you have a disability that prevents you to write nicknames properly (as can be seen by your own nick), but do try to get it right next time. Good luck.

My opinion of Terry is that he is probably the best centre half in the world. I like the way you put words into my mouth and then criticise me for your own imaginings. Quite clever.
You're right though... Chelsea aren't in a slump just because of Terry. They're in a slump, because the "master of the mindgames" has turned the Chelsea players into whiney children, with no bit of character at all. Saying that the table is lying and that a win at home against United can be taken for granted can only bring negativity to Chelsea. You may retort, this is just media talk, but even so, when a player goes on the pitch and thinks that the job is already done, then that team is in trouble. That's your hero, Mourinho's fault.
When ever Roman gets sick of having to deal with Mourinho's inability to get a performance out of a squad with which you could field 2 world class teams, then I'm sure a team of great stature like FC United of Manchester would like his services.
I think I'll stick with Palonka. It's got a nice ring to it.
