Well I'll become the third to sign up for the moment. Obviously unable to enter last year, I know I'll have as much of a chance of winning as I have of celebrating an FA Cup win.

This should be the only Tournament to sign up for till Jan. 1, 2006.
So that we can get a lot of people in it.

If we had 2,500 people with group sizes of 12 that would be 208 groups and 4 of them would have 13 people.

We should have Banded 2006 championships as well. Pretty much the same format except the minimum number of people needed would be smaller (say 20?).

I am wearing the shirt with number 34.
Whatever you do, don't put your money on 34.

Hmm, I think a championship should be exclusive, and open to all.

I'd rather see some banded tournaments going under another title. Something like 'Big Winter Face Off' or something (and 'Big Summer Face Off' for the southern hemisphere).

That would be cool. You can send requests by feedback if you want to see specific ones made. I'd send in a request but I've sent in my fair share over the past few months πŸ˜›.

I have just done so. But I have requested it to be duels. I like duels better than groups, and it will be easier to get 64 entrants (to make it worthy calling the tournament 'big'πŸ˜‰. Requested it to be a 3/7 timeout period too, by the way.

"Stupid subscriptions" allow people who runs this site to make a living out of their great effort.
Be happy with what you've got for FREE.

That's a rude awakening.

Actually... It may be a nice idea to open up this tournament to non-subscribers too so it will be a full RHP championship.

it would be a nice idea to have such a tournament - but i think it should be a different tournament.

this one already has strong meaning as it is formulated - for subscribers only.

it will be up to chris and russ - do they want the overheads of such a potentially massive tournament ... it could have a huge number of entrants ... it could be a great opportunity ... and almost certainly be won by an "advanced chess" player (human + computer combination)

it could cause massive growth in rhp/ it could cause chaos.

either way - it should be isolated from the 2006 championship.

perhapss it could be called: rhp v the world!
