3 day limit

i don't understand how one can enter and stay in a tournament to
the end if there is a 3 day limit..( you do not move in 3 days and
you lose ) without an exception for a short holiday -- say for a week --
is it really an absolute loss if you do not move in 3 days ?😉

Depends if your opponent claims the win. If not, you have got two extra days for a move, otherwise an automatic time-out will be ... euh... called / started / ignited / something like that...
