Imagine if one of the non leaders not only won, but cheated to do it too. That would really mar the image of the tournament.

at the time this tournament started he was a clan leader of IVV, clan leadreships change, now widget is a clan leader and he is not, what seems to be the problem? let's say i decide to leave my clan to someone else? should i resign in all of my games in this tournament also?
