Is it possible to move the set board back a couple of moves so it starts from whites fourth move, 4. Ng5

I think this leaves some interesting replies for black.

As it is I think White is ahead and we may find the top players cannot get a draw even out of black and the tournament won't get a conclusion.

Fair enough. I thought it was called fried liver when white moved his knight a second time on move 4. My mistake.

I think up to:
1.e4...e5
2.Nf3...Nc6
3.Bc4...Nf6
4.Ng5...d5
5.exd5...Nxd5 is just a variation of the 2-knights defence.

The FLA proper starts with 6.Nxf7

It's set up to basically allow the Fried Liver Attack or the Lolli Attack (Pd4.) unless white does something really wierd.

It's good.
