Some players (and they are numerous) want tournaments to be quicker. Why not making tournaments reserved only for high move frequency players (500 to 700 move a month min. for example), or medium frequency etc..., with time outs of 3 days for the first and 7 for the second ? It seems simpler and faster than time banks or 1 day t.o. to improve tournament speed.
The aim is not to end a tournament within a week but to avoid involving players who play once a week, or once every three days. I play against one in 3 day t.o tournament who makes a move every three day : he's never timed out but a 60 moves game will take 6 month ! What's the efficiency of time bank in this case ?
