There are very occasional non-sub tournaments like Tournament 1711 but these are few and far between. The one above started in January and the last one previous to that was Xmas 2004.

Yes!

...It isn't. A few months ago a couple of tournaments opened up for non-subscribers. The one before that was one and a half years ago. So it will probably take a year before one opens up for non-subscribers.
