I think it is fine, but I don't know what a king's gambit is anyway. Just as long as it is banded, you can make me feel cheerful.

I don't think it will be banded. I didn't ask 🙂, but I think it'd be fun to play the top players on RHP using my favorite opening.

Can you confirm what the time control will be? I'd be interested, but only providing the time control is long enough. I guess there will be others who will only be interested in a short time control, so it is a balance.

Are fixed opening tournaments rated?

actually, this might HAVE to be the case.

when i sponsored the From's Gambit tournamentTournament 793, Russ told me that the tournament HAD to start with white to-move. (a programming issue)

maybe this has been updated, but i doubt it.

edit: or perhaps I am remembering wrong,but i don't think so
