Just a thought: wouldn't the fact that all the tournaments covering the 1200 - 1699 brackets are well under way whilst the rest aren't fully subscribed yet suggest that we need far more banded tourneys for folks in that sort of ratings range to take part in?

I doubt the 1900-1949 and 1950-1999 are ever going to get started. They have had two entrants each for a very long time.
Exy has been rated 1970 before and my record against him is 1-1. Satyaprakash has beaten me once and we have drawn once. I haven't played XanthosNZ before but he is rising into the 1950+ range so it should be a good match.
