D'oh! Just realised, we've already got a banded duel format, which I'm actually playing in (I dunno, if I checked my facts before I opened my mouth I'd feel a lot less foolish in the long run...)

the small banded tourneys were much more fun and had more apeal i've scaled my games down cause i'm getting killed in big tourneys

Well therefore 1200 - 1399 was always going to be most polular. It has been full for two or three days now and hasn't started yet, why not?

I agree with Hopster. I have been a 1300-1400 player at most sites I play on. Here my rating is not as high, but the point is here it is not fun for either the lower rated not the higher rated player in games where they are over or under matched.

I like GameKnot's and Chess-Knights system where players set up tournaments and establish ratinges, if they are theme, etc.
