New Elite tournament

The new Elite1 tournament is described as being for players rated over 1900, but the minimum rating has not been set. One player, rated under 1200, has already entered. Can this be rectified? Because this could be the tournament of the top players that many have asked for.

Nope, not fixed. On the tournaments page it says rating n/a-n/a, and on the 'Elite I' page it says ratings 1900-0. Bit confusing, that.

Apparently not. As at time of post two entries only out of an eligible pool of some 30 players.

I guess the timeout is too short, at least for me it is. I think most top players require a timeout of at least 3 days, but maybe even 7. For me it has to be 7 days and the 14 day timebank

for me any time-out will do, though I prefer 3 days, but I want the timebank at least 21 days and the only reason for that is:
It's impossible to take a vacation here at RHP. A game can last up to a year (don't say it doesn't happen, because anyone who plays skeeter knows better)🙂 and personally I think even 21 days vacation in a year is not much to say the least...

as an 8 player tournament the second round is quite possibly going to be a draw.

if it was a 12 player tournament it would be much less likely that a draw would result in the second round.

Agreed. Bigger elite tournaments would be nice, perhaps with a "RHP Championship" attached? You could have an open and a closed.

I do have one question though: how come I got stuck in the wild moose half of the draw? I feel some humiliating loses coming on.
