I'd argue for a Polugaevsky variation tournament, but that's probably too specific, so 6. Bg5 Najdorf.
The Polugaevsky, to save you looking it up, is 1.e4 c5 2. Nf3 d6 3. d4 cd 4. Nxd4 Nf6 5. Nc3 a6 6. Bg5 e6 7. f4 b5.

5. Nc3 is all but forced there you may as well include it.

That said I support this idea. I'd love the chance to go up against top players with the Dragon and get destroyed positionally in the Najdorf.

yeah, i was going to include it, but i wasn't sure if there would be problems arranging a tournament where black was to move first. but that aside, i agree...

How about Larsen's Opening, just for some obscure fun, as long as no one uses a book or anything to look up the key moves it isnt quite so useless.
