    You're missing the point.
    Its easy to get many open games like you said or by joining clans, etc...

    The point is, if someone enters a banded tournament they want to play someone whos skill level is within the bounds of the tournament.

    In the first round this generally happens, this is good.

    BUT tournaments take 3 times longer than they should to complete (for the reasons explained above), by the time you get to the final round there is usually one or two players that have reached a skill level far in excess of the original tournament bounds.

    This is a problem that needs fixing and the purpose of this thread is to highlight this.
