I liked a lot someone's idea about banded duels or just banded championships, if you really can't live without with this championship thing......

I know but I requested a "normal" Sicilian tournament,too much moves to reach the Dragon set up.
I asked Chrismo to start it from 1.e4,c5 2.Nf3,d6 or would have been better the accelerated 2...Nc6?

I'd prefer the first rather than the second as I don't play the Accelerated Dragon (it's completely different from the Standard Dragon).

1. e4 c5 2. Nf3 d6 3. d4 cxd4 4. Nxd4 Nf6 5. Nc3 g6 would be even better and as far as I know not too many moves.

Why not make separate championships for every group, and people can only enter the group of the highest rating they achieved that year?

Although that will bring me into a too tough group for me, that is actually quite a nice idea. Altough it might not be that practical, since I take it that number is not stored somewhere, or can be easily retrieved for every participant in the tournament.

I obviously thought about holidays,Xmas and all that jazz,but why did he (Chris) read my message and didn't reply nor created the tournament? 😞

I just hope that they don't wait to start that "championship" before creating new tournaments.....

It appears that it's going to be that way. I don't know why though...I want more tourneys...Of any kind.
