Thanks Julia. I don't know what has happened to Yan, and it's a shame to get through to the 2nd round by TO. But rules is rules.
Yan, I'll keep the game open for your return, but the tourney must go on.

I have also a claim wim in my game with Yan, but I'm waiting for him to come back. I hope he will return soon and there is nothing wrong with him.
It's very kind of you to keep the game open.

I'm confused. How do you claim a T/O victory and still keep a game open? I thought claiming the victory would end the game.

Just curious,

I just mean that I have won the tourney round by TO, but I won't actually claim victory in the game. I hope he's coming back too.

OK, so you don't actually claim the victory, so the game is still in progress but the tournament directors mark it as a completed game in their records, so that the tournament moves on to the next round?

Yep, pretty much. It'll only work for the B.I.T, because it is totally controlled by the (excellent) efforts of the TD's. For the site automated tourneys (all the rest of the current ones) I think you'd have to claim the victory for the system to start the next round.
