question (that I should know the answer to)

my first game was started by Danforth, him taking white... are we
supposed to play the second game (me taking white) at the same
time, or after the 1st is completed?

It's probably been mentioned before, but I haven't been reading the
forums recently, and it'll make a large difference to how soon people
are ready for the next round

Yes start the second game in the opposite color and play the
games concurrently.
