Random Themed Tourneys

Hey, I forgot who, but someone had posted in the site ideas forum
about having a thematic tourney where the theme changed every
round. I figured this might level the playing ground a bit since
thematic tourneys are unbanded, and at the same time it would give
everyone a variety. Anyone else feel interested?

It sounds amusing. While it would certainly be fun, who chooses which themes are valid for the tourney? While the Roy Lopez, French defense, Queens Indian etc. would all be great, I would almost consider it unfair to toss in a grob or latvian due to the dubious-ness of those openings. Then again since you get to play both sides of the opening, I suppose that would be fine too.
