How about an RHP World Cup their should be teams of 5 and their ratings should be one player 2000+,another1600-2000,another1200-1600, and two 0-1200.
There should be a play-off between Ireland and France πŸ˜€πŸ˜€

Sorry meant to say their should be a play-off between ireland and france to see who should be the 32nd team. plus we should use the soccer world cup draw.
The only thing is how do we decide the teams maybe we should have a tournament
Hopefully Russ will consider this idea.

only way i see it happening is if we organize it through the forums.

plus 2 1200-1600 players works much better as that's were the majority of players are.

you won't get 5 players from each world cup nation but what you could do is have 16 teams (32 if tournament is popular) from as many nations as possible, with more than one team from the more popular chess nations.

I think England would do pretty well in this - look at how many of the page 1 players are from this fine country.

ya maybe., we could put up a forum for each country and if you want to play put your name forward.
