I've noticed that is says 'Bye' next to some players. At first I thought
it was you under another nick accepting to play in all classes but on
second thought I think it means that the player isn't participating
anymore? Is this correct?

It means that we had an odd number of people...so the highest rated
player gets automatically moved to the second round.
