The automatic creation of tournament banding has been modified again, and now only considers those who have previously entered tournaments in the last 30 days. Therefore, from now on, the bands should be better distributed over those who are actual frequent tournament entrants over those who are actually eligible to enter (subs) but choose not too.

Hopefully this will work. Are you going to start the backlog of unfilled tournaments?

My home page reports at present I am eligible to enter 29 tournaments of which 24 are banded!! Of those 17 are on a 3/7 time limit, and 7 hardcore or sprint, where many higher rated players would prefer more time. I don't think it is any surprise these are not filling up.

Is this designed to make the bands more competitive? There are 10 banded tournaments on my page, each starting at 1650 or 1750 and ending at 2999. The same undefeated 2300 player has entered all of tournaments. There are 5 open tournaments as well, and the same undefeated 2300 player has entered them too. This situation is quite disappointing.
