i wonder if anyone can be bothered going through all the banned players and finding how many tournaments they won ... then comparing it to the number of tournies finished.
i have added up all the victories by the 3(b) players : 55
there are also at least 4 victories by 3(a) players (thePO , and fernando J P Vasquez )
there are 569 finished tournaments.
i am not sure how many were open / banded.
most of these tournaments were played some time ago, before the mods ... i suspect a more recent tournament is likely to finish after banning of a "user".
I guess the solution is for mods to have a look at the final two players in every tornament and ensure that there is nothing suspicious about them and ban if neccessary before the winner is decided. Still wouldnt be fair for players knocked out earlier in the tourney by engines.

[edit]
my stats: no torneys finished.
How many people do you think end up in the final round of a tournament per week?
in the maia i tried to convince brian to resign in all our games in protest against fkaille I think he managed a draw against that player, I on the other hand did not. Maybe a case of follow your instincts and principals and to heck with the consequences. cheer's ned

I have gone to "My Tournaments" but not sure if they are only the ones that are active and not finished!??
Any assistance would be appreciated
That's all tournaments you've played in. Just like clan challenges the coloured square (and the 'in progress' text) will tell you if they are finished or not.
Originally posted by no1marauder That's not true; the removed players list was only started in September. Some players were banned before then, but their names were not publicized.
