When is your rating checked for banded tourname...

I keep seeing all these over/underrated people in the banded tournaments.

I checked some of the underrated ones and they had higher ratings earlier that force them to compete at the higher level. But I also see higher level people in the tournies...

Is your rating checked when you sign up? When the tourney starts? What's the deal?

if theres a 1200-1400 band and your last 30 days rating goes down to 1399 you can enter the tourny regardless of how high your rating is when the tourny starts.

It's checked only when entering.
