Why is it 1249 and under have to go together?

crashnburn must have played his 5games as he is no longer in the tourney lol some little bit of justice for now!

Actually, he has not completed his 5 games yet. I guess he knows that at the rate he is playing after the completion of 5 games his provisional ranking will be more than p1200.

Some of the provisionals have not even completed 5 games. they are on the second or third ame I think.

Why not limit new players and those with p rating to tournaments reserved solely for them?

Actually, they can still enter a tournament provided it is not a banded one. This issue has been brought up many times but still have not heard of any latest news or update regards to this issue. 🙂
