I guess if you play an opening often enough you eventually stop losing with it.
3... dxe4
The Blackmar Diemer. 3...e6 is a French Defence
4. f3
One day I'll try Bg5.
4... exf3 5. Ng1xf3 Bc8g4
The Teichmann Defence.
6. h3 Bg4h5
In this way Black draws forward White's Kingside pawns, but reaches a strong diagonal b1-h7 perhaps preventing a later Bd3 by White.
7. g4
I believe this is thought best by the BDG theorists, but I am sure white could also develop pieces here.
7... Bh5g6 8. Nf3e5 e6 9. Bf1g2
I have also played 9.Qf3 and 9.h4 in some games at this point. It is not clear to me which might be best. They are probably just moves to be honest...
9... c6 10. h4
This threatens the bishop by h5. If h6 then Nxg6 forces black to recapture with his f pawn and leads to a weakening of the king side and isolates black's e-pawn.
10... Bg6xc2
Black decides to exchange his bishop for a number of pawns. This leads to a full blooded game.
11. Qd1d2
If Qxc2 then Qxd4 threatening the pawn on g4 as well.
