A loud ringing in my ears woke me up at an ungodly hour.

I hear you! And if I were to speak as the misogynist divegeester does, using his words, I would say that you are talking like an "old woman."

On the other hand, speaking for myself, I would just say that you are speaking foolishly. Foolishness is not gender-specific, although age can have a bearing on it.

If ...[text shortened]... obably liked this song a lot more than you "like" me.

Drew is not an old woman but I am, and I love it.

To each there own, PT. I had relatives that liked mussels, but not me - and dang, I can pick them for free!

Do you like Calamari? I really like that with a little hot sauce on it.
    Calamares frittos perhaps?

I have, sometimes wondered why “some” people, who have opposing views, can’t just agree to disagree and “let it go”. I am likely naive in my wonder but it seems to me that there is no need for vitriol.
I think it's all about disagreeing and arguing - a lot of posts saying nothing really.

American writer Paul Auster, 77. I remember him for his filmscript to "Smoke" with Harvey Keitel and William Hurt.

    I don't blame you, Torunn.
I won't eat oysters, periwinkles, snails, mussels, but... I really loves me my clams 🙂
They look a bit inedible too, I must say. Are they a little slimy?

OK but that was lunch time. Why not give them “a go” at dinner time?🤔👍
There is no good time for slimy food, I'm sorry for saying this.

As you wish but I think you really should “expand” your epicurean experience.👍
I just can't bring myself to do it. The only time oysters were on the lunch menu was in Italy many years ago. I think that choosing something more familiar that time helped keep me alive. 🙂
