I can't speak for America, but where I live, the native population cannot supply the needs of the local economy. I'm not talking about back-breaking dumb labor (fruit pickers) either. In the medical industry here, fully half the doctors and nurses are non-natives. Universities simply cannot educate enough people. I suppose it is similar in many other countries.

My guess about libertarian justice is, first that would be an oxy moron and second, their form of justice would most likely be a noose hung around the nearest tree so that cursed shoplifter will never do THAT again.

Sure 'justice' in every store may be different and there would be a 10 page rule book entering each store. Just like now but without any consistency. It would keep folks on their toes for sure.

Enforcement would only be possible if store owners had muscle or money.

I imagine he thinks it's a wild West scenario but for cities.

Side note: Hanging is much less cruel than our current method for execution by lethal injection. We should go back to that.
