GM Dimitris Anagnostopoulos

Anagnostopoulos started playing chess at a young age and became a Grandmaster in 2005, the same year in which he won the Greek Chess Championship. He has enjoyed success at other national and international tournaments, like winning the Greek Rapid Championship and the Greek Blitz Championship as well. His contributions to chess extend beyond his own play though; he has served as a coach of Greece's national chess teams, and has even been a trainer for World and European Chess Championships.
