G. Petar Arnaudov was born on 15 March 1986 in Pazardzhik, a town in southern Bulgaria. Arnaudov gained the title of International Master in 2004. In 2008 and 2009, he won the Bulgarian championships for players up to 20 years old. Later in 2009, he was awarded the title of Grandmaster by FIDE.
Arnaudov has participated in many international tournaments, where he’s achieved notable results. In 2005, he won a silver medal in the U20 category of the World Youth Chess Championships in Belfort, France. In 2009, alongside his victory in the Junior National Championship, Arnaudov shared first place in the International Open Chess Tournament in Stara Zagora, Bulgaria.
