Saparmyrat Atabayev is a Turkmen chess grandmaster, born in 1999. He became an International Master in 2017 and earned the Grandmaster title in 2025.

A regular for Turkmenistan in team chess, he has played in multiple Chess Olympiads - scoring 6/11 on board three in 2016 and 5.5/11 on board two in 2018 - and qualified for the 2021 Chess World Cup.
