Benidze started participating in chess tournaments from an early age, showcasing his talent in both national and international competitions. He first gained significant recognition in 2011 when he won the Georgian Youth Chess Championship.
In 2016, he became a repeated champion of Georgia. Later that year, he also participated in the World Chess Championship among juniors, where he performed successfully, finishing in the top ten. Besides, he participated in other high-ranking contests, such as the European Individual Chess Championship and the Chess World Cup.
Benidze is also a qualified chess coach who has received the FIDE Trainer title. He continues to excel as both a player and a coach in the field of chess.
