Jonas Buhl Bjerre (born December 24, 2002) is a Danish chess grandmaster. Bjerre earned the title of International Master, a prestigious title within the chess community, in 2018. A year later, he won the prestigious Paris Grand Chess Tour, which secured his Grandmaster title; he became the youngest grandmaster from Denmark at the age of 16.


Bjerre began playing chess at an early age and made his mark on the game in 2017 when he won the under-14 section of the European Youth Chess Championship. During the following year, he became the youngest player from Denmark to qualify for the final stages of the Danish Chess Championship.


Bjerre has taken part in countless tournaments throughout his career. Of note, he secured first place in the 2019 Vejle Easter tournament, while also winning the 2019 Xtracon Chess Open. In 2020, he competed in the Biel Chess Festival. Bjerre has also participated in several online chess tournaments, notably the 2020 World Online Open, while he has also contributed to Denmark's national chess team, featuring in the 2020 Online Chess Olympiad.
