Arik Braun details his life and accomplishments as a chess grandmaster. Braun is a German chess player who won the title of International Master in 2005 and Grandmaster in 2007. He gained recognition as the Under 18 World Chess Championship in August 2006. In 2004, at the age of 16, he won both the German Rapid Chess Championship and the German Blitz Chess Championship. Another major achievement of his was becoming the German Chess Champion in 2008, and three years later, he won the International Neckar Open.
