Michail Brodsky is a Ukrainian chess Grandmaster who was awarded his title in 1993. He was born on June 30, 1969 in Volnovakha, Ukrainian SSR, Soviet Union. Brodsky won the Ukrainian Chess Championship in 1991. He has competed in several Chess Olympiads, representing Ukraine.
Some of his notable achievements include securing the first place in International Chess Tournaments held at Olomouc in 1997, Pardubice in 2000 and 2001, and at Cappelle la Grande in 2002. He also won the semi-final of the Ukrainian Chess Championship in 2007.
In 2015, Brodsky was a coach of the Ukrainian women's team that won the gold medal at the World Team Chess Championship and the European Team Chess Championship.
