Jorge Moisés Cori Tello is a Peruvian chess grandmaster. He was born in Lima on July 30, 1995. Cori earned his International Master title in 2009 and his Grandmaster title in 2011, both from FIDE. He has excelled at many tournaments worldwide, including the South American Youth Chess Championship, the North American Youth Chess Championship, and the World Youth Chess Championship, which he won in 2009.
Cori has represented Peru in multiple World Team Chess Championships and Chess Olympiads, often obtaining high rankings. He has achieved top player spots at several Pan American Team Chess Championships, including a gold and a silver medal in 2013, and another gold in 2017. He has also played in the Chess World Cup in 2015, 2017, and 2019.
