Artur Davtyan is an Armenian chess grandmaster. His norms trace a long road: the European Individual Championship in June 2017, the Sharjah Masters in May 2022, and victory at the GM Putnik 95 tournament in Serbia in December 2025, which sealed the title, awarded in 2026.

In January 2026 he marked his arrival among Armenia's elite with second place in the national championship, edging former European champion Zaven Andriasian on tiebreaks.
