Kamil Dragun is a Polish Grandmaster (GM) of chess who was born on October 21, 1995. Dragun has been highly active in chess from an early age and achieved several significant accomplishments throughout his career.


In 2012, Dragun obtained his International Master title. The following year, he won the U18 World Chess Championship in Al Ain, United Arab Emirates. As a result, Dragun was awarded the GM title by FIDE in 2014.


Dragun has successfully competed in various international competitions. In 2015, he won the Polish Chess Championship in Poznan. In the same year, he also tied for first place at the 17th Open International Bavarian Chess Championship in Bad Wiessee, Germany.


In team competitions, Dragun played in the European Team Chess Championship in 2017 for the Polish national team. He has also competed in several Polish Team Chess Championships, once for the club Polonia Wroclaw, and multiple times for the club WASKO Hetman GKS Katowice.


In terms of academic qualifications, he has received a Master of Science degree in Economics. As an economist, Dragun also specialises in Finance and Accounting.
