Viacheslav Dydyshko is a Soviet-born Belarusian chess Grandmaster. He was awarded the grandmaster title in 1995 by the World Chess Federation (FIDE). He was born on May 12, 1949 in Moscow, Russia.
Dydyshko has represented his country in nine Chess Olympiads between 1994 and 2006. He won individual silver medals in 1994 and 1998, and a team bronze medal in 2002. He has also participated in six World Team Chess Championships between 1993 and 2005, securing a team silver in 1997 and individual bronze in 2005.
Internationally, Dydyshko has participated in numerous tournaments, often finishing in the top spots. He has registered victories against several well-known grandmasters including Alexander Morozevich, Sergey Karjakin, and Levon Aronian.
