Nana Dzagnidze is a Georgian chess grandmaster. She was born on January 1, 1987 in Kutaisi, Georgia and became a chess Grandmaster in 2008.


Dzagnidze won the Girls' under-12 section of the World Youth Chess Championships in Cannes, France in 1999. She also won the gold medal at the European Youth Chess Championship in the under-18 girls section in 2003. In 2005, she won the 6th European Women's Championship in Chișinău.


Dzagnidze is a two-time Georgian women's champion, having won the title in 2012 and 2013. She has also represented Georgia in various international team chess competitions, such as the Women's Chess Olympiads and the European Team Chess Championships, winning several team and individual medals.


In 2010, Dzagnidze had a notable victory in the FIDE Women's Grand Prix in Nalchik, Russia. She scored 9/11 points, finishing 1.5 points ahead of second-placed Tatiana Kosintseva. This win saw her briefly enter the women's world top ten for the first time in the July 2010 FIDE world rankings.


Dzagnidze has participated in the Women's World Chess Championship several times, reaching the quarterfinals twice, in 2010 and 2015. She played on the Georgian team that won the Women's World Team Chess Championship 2015 in Chengdu, China.
