Erigaisi Arjun is an Indian chess player who holds the title of grandmaster. He was born in Karimnagar, Telangana, India on September 3, 2003. He began playing chess at the age of six and, by seven, had won his first state championship


Arjun received his 1st IM Norm in 2015 at the 8th KIIT International Chess Festival. By 2017, he was the youngest international master in India, and a year later, achieved the grandmaster rank, making him the 53rd grandmaster from India.


In 2006, Arjun won the national 1st denduluri Harika Memorial Grandmaster, followed by success in the 2018 National Junior Championships. Among his other notable achievements, he won the 2019 Delhi International Open, clinch a gold medal at the Asian youth U14 rapid championship in 2017, and took silver medal in Asian youth U14 blitz championship in 2017.


Arjun's father, Erigaisi Srinivas, is also a prominent figure in his career, providing him with continuous encouragement and promoting his success. Both of Arjun's parents are formerly professional volleyball players. Arjun is a 12th Standard student at Chaitanya College, Medchal.


During the COVID-19 pandemic, Erigaisi Arjun contributed by participating in charity events to raise funds for affected people.
