Volodymyr Yevhenovych Eryomenko is a Ukrainian chess grandmaster known for winning multiple national and international championships. Born on November 14th, 1993, Eroymenko started playing chess at a young age and quickly rose to prominence.


In 2009, he won the U16 Ukrainian Chess Championship in Sumy. He also won the Western Ukrainian championship in Lviv in 2010 and the U18 Ukrainian Chess Championship in Rivne in 2011, establishing himself as a skilled player nationally.


Internationally, Eryomenko participates in tournaments alongside other renowned grandmasters. In 2013, he represented Ukraine at the World Chess Championship in Antalya, Turkey. He also competed in the Ukrainian team championship in 2016 and 2017.


Eryomenko was awarded the title of International Master (IM) in 2011. In January 2019, after his performance at the Hastings International Chess Congress, he received the prestigious title of Grandmaster (GM), which is the highest honour a chess player can attain.


Today, Eryomenko both competes in and organises chess tournaments. He also teaches chess, sharing his knowledge and love for the game.
