Vladimir Fedoseev is a Russian chess grandmaster, known for his achievements in the international chess circuit. Born on the 16th of February 1995 in Saint Petersburg, Russia, he achieved the title of Grandmaster in 2011.
In 2013, he won the Russian Higher League and joined the Russian Chess Championship Superfinal, where he took fifth place. For the 2015 European Team Chess Championship, he received the gold medal for his performances on board five.
One of his biggest victories came in 2017 when he reached the final of the FIDE World Chess Grand Prix in Palma de Mallorca. He, however, lost to Levon Aronian. He also won the Aeroflot Open in the same year, which is one of the world's most competitive open chess tournaments.
In 2019, Fedoseev took part in the World Team Chess Championship, playing for Russia's team. Moreover, he secured a victory in the European Blitz Chess Championship.
