Benjámin Gledura is a Hungarian chess grandmaster, best known for winning the European Youth Chess Championship in the under 14 category in 2013. He was born on January 4, 1999, in Eger, Hungary. Gledura earned his Grandmaster (GM) title in 2015, becoming one of the youngest grandmasters in the world at the time.
In 2011, at the age of 12, he won an International Master tournament held in Budapest. In the same year, he competed at the European Youth Chess Championship and finished 3rd. He gained the International Master (IM) title in 2014.
In 2016, he represented Hungary at the 42nd Chess Olympiad where he helped his team finish in 5th place. In the same year, he won the Hungarian Rapid Chess Championship.
Gledura was also the winner of the 2017 Cappelle la Grande Open tournament. In 2018, he played in the Tata Steel Chess Tournament held in Wijk aan Zee.
