Wei Ming Kevin Goh is a Singaporean chess Grandmaster who was the first in his country to achieve this title. Born on May 5, 1980, Goh is also a chartered financial analyst, a certified public accountant, and has a Master's degree in Wealth Management. Singapore Chess Federation recognized him as the National Junior Champion (Under-16) in 1995.

From a young age, Goh showed an interest in chess and began taking it seriously when he was 9 years old. His first major success was winning the National Junior Blitz Championship in 1994. In the same year, he took part in the World Youth Chess Championship and won the National Junior Championship (Under-16).

In 2002, Goh earned the title of International Master. Sixteen years later, Goh was awarded the Grandmaster title in 2018 by the World Chess Federation (FIDE) after fulfilling all the necessary requirements. Goh thus became the first Singaporean to achieve this honour.

Goh also accomplished significant feats in team chess tournaments, particularly in the Chess Olympiads and the World Team Chess Championship. In 2006, he led the Singapore men's team at the 37th Chess Olympiad in Turin, Italy, and he has been representing Singapore in Olympiads since 2002.

In addition to competing, Goh is also dedicated to promoting chess in Singapore and contributing to the chess community. He was the Vice-President of the Singapore Chess Federation from 2007-2011, and he has also authored a book called "The Sicilian: Grandmaster vs. Amateur".
